PUX is Product & User Experience. PUX is a service of TX Markets (part of TX Group) and supports the TX portfolio companies - which include some of the widest-reach online brands in Switzerland - to build better products.
Now that’s a lot of blah. Let’s try to explain in depth. TX Markets owns or is invested in many well known companies and brands: Ricardo, tutti.ch, Homegate, Car For You, Jobs.ch. And at TX Group, there are even more great ones, like Tages Anzeiger, 20 Minuten, Doodle or Zattoo. These companies have amazing product teams. But sometimes they need support, be it a specialist who’s focused on UX design or research, be it because they need to speed up. And that’s where we come in.
This is us
We are a power team of 12+ UX- and product-people who can swoop in, help, run, manage, research, design, prototype and consult. Even smile. And we only do it for TX Group companies and brands, and only because we love good products. Was that clear(ish)?
Wikipedia says that user research focuses on understanding user behaviours, needs, and motivations through observation techniques, task analysis, and other feedback methodologies. To us, this means that we include the users’ perspective in every step of the design process: from explorative interviews, via iterative user tests, to feedback features and surveys, and many other methods. We talk to users, and we listen to them, so we can truly incorporate their needs into our product design.
User Experience design is about the process of envisioning and creating meaningful and highly desirable product experiences for the users. We design and optimize the entire user journey and its touchpoints, taking different aspects into consideration: utility, the context of use, UI design, usability, accessibility, function, branding, and… fun. With a user-centered and data-driven approach, between one workshop and a thousand prototypes, we work with researchers, product managers, data experts, and engineers to ideate and deliver solutions that bring value and simplicity to our customer’s everyday lives.
